Project Overview: Enhancing Road Safety Awareness
To elevate awareness of road safety issues among diverse user groups and foster a culture of safe practices within the community.
Services Provided
Collaborated with government departments (Road, Transport, Health, Education, Police, Local Administration) and NGOs to align efforts.
Conducted reconnaissance to evaluate the current road safety landscape, identifying problem areas and accident hotspots.
Compiled findings and suggestions from relevant stakeholders into a comprehensive report, outlining actionable program initiatives
Launched a public awareness campaign, producing educational videos and literature to disseminate road safety information
Trained over 4,000 drivers in Defensive Driving, First Aid, and Trauma Care to enhance their safety skills.
Implemented interactive training sessions for two-wheeler riders, utilizing video content to reinforce safe riding practices.
Engaged 400 schools, training over 1,000 Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) and 500 School Road Safety Officers (SRSOs), benefiting approximately 25,000 students.
Held public meetings in 20 towns to educate local communities on traffic safety and demonstrate emergency response measures.
Conducted surveys among stakeholders to assess program impact, culminating in a final report with recommendations for future initiatives.
Organized workshops to present evaluation findings, discuss improvements, and strategize future road safety plans with all stakeholders
